Electropure EDI: EXL
High flow rate EDI for Power Generation and Industrial applications

EXL by Electropure modules are designed to be the highest flow Electrodeionization modules on the market. EXL modules can handle flow rates up to 8 m3/hr (35 gpm) depending on the specific requirements of the customer. EXL was in limited release in China as of January 2009.

EXL

  • Electropure EDI technology with the same physical profile as E-Cell® MK3 and Ionpure® LX modules.
  • Includes SnowPure’s patented Excellion membranes
  • EXL feed and product ports have 3 options:
    1. Sanitary “Maxi” Tri-Clamp® for E-Cell® MK3 replacement
    2. D25 or 1” +GF+ Georg Fischer Union for EXL-600
    3. D32 or 1-1/4” +GF+ Georg Fischer Union for EXL-700
  • +GF+ unions can connect to:
    1. Metric, US, or Japanese pipe
    2. PVC, PP, PVDF, or SS, threaded or welded pipe
  • EXL concentrate and electrode ports options are flexible metric tubing (John Guest) or US tubing (John Guest)
  • EXL has permanent seals on each chamber and require no torqueing

Electropure EDI: XL-HTS
High Temperature Stable EDI for Pharmaceutical and Laboratory

XL-HTS High Temperature Stable Sanitary Modules by Electropure products cover a range of flows from 50 l/h to 2.3 m3/hr. depending on the specific requirements of the customer.  These are designed for periodic cold or hot sanitization.  The modules are stable for heat cycling up to 80 degrees C, for over 104 cycles.

XL-HTS

  • Feed and product ports are 1-inch (1 ") Ladish Sanitary Fittings.
  • Modules come with sanitary clamps, seals and stainless steel covers
  • Simple systems can be built with multiple modules in parallel.
  • Modules are manufactured with materials that are compliant with FDA CFR 21.
  • Non-functional show models are available for purchase on request.

Electropure EDI: XL-SR
Sanitary EDI for Pharmaceutical and Laboratory

XL-SR by Electropure products can handle a range of flows from 50 l/h to 2.3 m3/hr, depending on the specific requirements of the customer.  These are designed for periodic cold sanization using peroxide/peracetic acid.

XL-SR

  • Feed and product ports are 1-inch (1 ") Ladish Sanitary Fittings.
  • Modules come with sanitary clamps and seals.
  • Simple systems can be built with multiple modules in parallel.
  • The -SR series is an improved design with the bolt heads on the opposite face.
  • Modules are manufactured with materials that are compliant with FDA CFR 21.
  • Non-functional show models are available for purchase on request.

Industrial EDI for Power Generation, Semiconductor, General Industrial

XL-R by Electropure products can handle a range of flows from 50 l/h to 2.3 m3/hr, depending on the specific requirements of the customer.  These are designed for rugged industrial EDI systems, whether made from PP or PVC or Stainless Steel.

XL-R

  • Feed and product ports are 1-inch (1 ") female pipe thread (FNPT).
  • Simple systems can be built with multiple modules in parallel.
  • The R series is an improved design with the bolt heads on the opposite face.
  • Non-functional show models are available for purchase on request.

Electropure EDI: XL-DER
High Temperature Stable EDI for Hemodialysis (Endotoxin Removal in preparation for Kidney Dialysis)

XL-DER High Temperature Stable EDI Modules by Electropure products cover a range of flows from 50 l/h to 2.3 m3/hr, depending on the specific requirements of the customer. This product is optimized for preparing dialysate for hemodialysis centers. When operated in the specified manner, XL-DER can remove an additional 95% of endotoxins from RO permeate, making the dialysate even safer for patients.
